or the past 10 years, Esther Vermillion has performed the harp on tour at concerts and conventions nationwide. During her harp career, she has performed for weddings, bridal shows, banquets and musicals. The year 2000 was highlighted for Esther as she recorded and released a sacred harp CD entitled, 'In Heavenly Peace' along with sister and fellow harpist Ruth Anne Crist. As a young child, Esther studied piano, organ, and violin. Inspired by Harpo Marx, she began studying the harp at the age of 13 and played her first wedding at 14. In addition to playing as a soloist, she performs with professional flutists in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and baritone vocalist, Chad Vermillion. Her repertoire includes classical, popular romantic and modern styles, as well as religious music. |
